For awhile now, I've been almost exclusively doing paintings in traditional mediums, that is until I discovered this wonderful freeware program called Krita.
For years I've always used Corel's Painter and Photoshop to do touch ups of my 3D renders, but this is the first program I've ever encountered that effectively combines the best qualities of both; Painters powerful almost real world brushes and PS's powerful editing tools and layer system, best part of all, it's free!
If you have a hankering to try to flex your artistic muscles, then you could hardly go wrong using this fine program.
This picture, simply titled Fantasy Landscape one, was the very first image I painted in Krita, hope you enjoy it half as much as I did creating it.
